The Sheriffhall Roundabout was widened to provide a four lane circulatory carriageway with four lane entries on both A720 approaches, however reported collisions has remained the same. In order to address this issue, we were contracted to provide hard wired illuminated road studs for the paths taken by the A720 traffic which would illuminate in sequence with the appropriate traffic signal head when it changed to green and extinguish when the signal changed to red. Our installation included traffic management and control and works were restricted to night time only.
